The election process and its awareness is very important for the promotion of democracy of any country. In order to familiarize the students with the concept of election and inculcating leadership qualities in them, FGEIs C/G Directorate took the initiative to conduct the elections of student’s councils in all the institutions across Pakistan. In pursuance of this directive, the elections for the Head Girl and Deputy Head Girl, were conducted in FG Public School No. 1 Girls HIT Taxila Cantt. Students were given open choice to nominate themselves for the said role. The election campaign was carried out during the week 28th Nov- 2nd Dec, 2022. The candidates wholeheartedly participated in it. They carried the play cards and banners of their favorite candidate and chanted their slogans. The polling was conducted on 5th Dec, 2022 where students from grade 6th to 10th polled their votes to elect their favorite candidate. The activity closed with the announcement of results. The principal Mrs. Najma congratulated the winners with the hope that they will play a positive role towards the discipline of school.
