14th August 2023 marked the Independence Day of Pakistan which was celebrated across the country with the spirit of patriotism. In this regard, FGEIs issued special instructions to celebrate this day by commemorating the sacrifices and efforts of our forefathers who led the Pakistan movement and materialized the vision of our Quaid.
In FG Public School No. 1 Girls Taxila Cantt, the Jashan-e-Azadi was celebrated with renewed national spirit and enthusiasm. The school premises were decorated with flags and balloons. On 11th August 2023, a program was organized to celebrate this historic event in which all the students participated to pay tribute to our national heroes. The proceedings of the event included speeches, national song performances and tableaus. Different competitions were also organized among students to enhance the importance of freedom and the Pakistan Movement. These included a quiz competition, a poetry recitation competition and a Mili Naghma Competition. In the end, both teachers and students were awarded certificates for good results in SSC Examination 2023.
