In the memory of sacrifices given by the Pakistan Armed Forces, Defense Day was celebrated on 6th September 2023 in FG Public School No. 1 (Girls) Taxila Cantt with devotion and enthusiasm. Teachers and student of the school arranged a function to pay tribute to the martyrs of the 1965 War.
The event started with the recitation of Holy Quran followed by Naat Sharif by students in their persuasive voices. After that, students paid tribute to Pak Armed Forces by singing national songs “Ay Rah-e-Haq Kay Shaeedo”, “Sab Apny Nazrye Pass Rakho” and “Mery Naghmy Thumary Liay Hain” in their melodious voices. After that, to express solidarity with Pakistan Armed Forces, students from primary section, middle section and high section performed different tablo skits on the theme of Defense Day.
Students of FG Public School No. 1 (Girls) also delivered English and Urdu speeches on the topics related to Defense day. The powerful words of speeches and enthusiastic attitude of the students reminded the audience of the Indo-Pak War 1965.
